March 14th is National "Pi" Day (3.14)! In honor of this never-ending number, we invite you to try a new twist on the traditional haiku. We were inspired by Scholastic's writing-based pi activities, that you can check-out here.
Rather than following the traditional haiku format, ask your child or student to write a poem inspired by the number pi.
First line: 3 syllables
Second line: 1 syllable
Third line: 4 syllables
This pi-ku may be about a subject or your students choice, or about pi itself!
