Make a Balloon-Powered Rocket Car
Ready for a fun, STEAM-based project? Try making a rocket car! We used pre-made wheels, but feel free to improvise with bottle caps and hot glue instead!
Instructions:
Step one: Each group will need to read the set of directions together.
Step two: After the directions have been read, the teacher will give each group their supplies. Each group will need to construct their rocket car using only the supplies given.
Step three: Groups that finish early will need to give their rocket a name, and may add paper additions (such as a nose cone) to their design.
Step four: Each group will race their rocket cars (in a group race) to see what car goes the furthest in the shortest amount of time.
