Teton Literacy has seen the demand for its services grow so much over the past several years that the organization has outgrown its home. Hundreds of local residents, both children and adults, have turned to TLP to build skills for a better quality life. “We see families transformed by this program. We have graduates who are business owners today, and when they came to us, they worried about being able to read their children’s homework with them,” said Julie Cheek, chairman of the board for Teton Literacy.

Determined to continue to serve the community need, TLP built a new facility, bringing all aspects of programming and services under one roof. It features private tutoring rooms, classrooms, a formal library, reception and office areas. The new home for TLP is located in the Flat Creek Business Center adjacent to Jackson Hole High School, Colter Elementary School and next door to the Jackson Hole Community School.
