Youth Program

After-School Tutoring

The after-school tutoring program provides personalized one-to-one tutoring sessions to develop vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing skills and critical thinking skills across subject areas. Volunteer tutors work for one hour a week with middle school and high school students in the Teton County School District, Journeys School and Jackson Hole Community School. Tutoring is free to families, thanks to our volunteers who donate their time.

After-School Homework Help (ASHH)

TLC tutors support the ASHH program at Jackson Hole Middle School four days a week. Students referred to this program are failing classes or are not completing homework. Tutors help students with reading comprehension, writing, grammar and successful completion of student assignments. Tutoring sessions complement and build upon school curriculum.

Youth Program Events

Dec. 19 -Jan. 3- No Tutoring
If you and your student would like to meet on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday before vacation (12/19-12/21) please let Krista know. Otherwise, see you in January!
