Tutoring Programming
Students between Kinder and 12th grade work one-to-one with a volunteer tutor for one hour each week. Each lesson is planned by a staff member and targets the individual student's literacy needs. Through tutoring, students gain confidence, thinking skills, and reading strategies. Tutoring sessions support individual interests and are aligned with school curriculum.
Literacy lab, preschool program
Teton Literacy Center’s preschool program, Literacy Lab, is a program for children ages 3-5 years old who will be entering kindergarten in one or two years, and do not have access to a preschool program. Students attend school two mornings a week from 8:00a - 1:00p through the end of May 2021.
Literacy Lab is a part of the Family Literacy Program which works with children and parents to reach their academic and family goals.

- Parent Workshops: Workshops for families provide knowledge and tools to support at home literacy activities and skill building.
- PACT (Parent and Child Time Together): Parents are vital to our students' success. We provide support through monthly PACT time and quarterly home visits, helping parents learn fun ways to increase their child's academic development.
Parent Education
Parent Education is a new program at Teton Literacy Center. This program has the goal to provide education to parents of our TLC students, and ensure the entire family thrives within our community. We provide a year-long English as a Second Language class twice a week, a Language Exchange program for parents to polish new language skills and 2-3 different courses offered every quarter for parents of our center.
